I've been reading a Humanities text and within its pages rests a condensed version of
Moliere's play,
Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme (THE MIDDLE CLASS GENTLEMAN). Its an interesting play about a man who does well in life and falls into the trappings of upper-class life, and much humor ensues. It reminds me of another Moliere play,
Tartuffe, I read a few years back. Tartuffe is filled with outlandish scenarios of the day and quite a bit of mirth. I'd recommend either.
