Good observation. People go batsh*t insane when they lose sight of the road and get a little bit of ice under their tread. I got a good rule of thumb whenever I can't see the road. I just say to myself "Just because I can't see the road, doesn't mean it's not there." Then I precede to rear end a snow plow.
BTW the verification word is butbum. Try to work that into to everyday conversation.
